- Many minor bug fixes and tweaks
- Doors have been changed to properly detect if they are open or closed. Double doors in existing maps will need to be updated
- Villagers will move indoors during night and rain, and socialize with each other
- Zombies will break down wooden doors on hard difficulty
- Added cat sounds
- Better movement for mobs in water
- Added rare mob item drops

We will be examining some of these changes in greater detail, but in the meantime, we have the following to consider - how are your villagers behaving with this update? How awesome is it to have working double-doors? What sort of rare items do mobs drop? Let us know about it!

I bet the rare mob drops aren't anything new, but rather ores and stuff. Maybe potions, armor, misc Nic-naks.
And the double doors.... does both open at the opening of one?

might be annoying for xp grinders though....
I've been monitoring my mob grinder and haven't gotten anything special yet. I suspect that you need to kill the mobs to get the special stuff (like xp orbs)
I don't think I've broken more than 5 tools since the repair mechanic has been implemented.
Rare drops, means that skeletons can drop bows and zombies can drop armor (not sure if this is true or not yet, but that's what i've heard.)
Villagers will actually RUN from zombies now. Zombies will also chase villagers, so you can have a zombie invasion if your in hard mode, at night, and in a village.
Apart from that, nothing that's too new.
Villagers appear to "converse" while indoors and will stop and stare at you if you walk in.
