Choosing a limited number of packs to vote on was incredibly difficult due to the sheer volume of great entries, and we thank every single artist who is participating!
Once you've had a chance to see the packs (and maybe play with them in your game too!), vote on your favorite in the poll at the top of this thread. Good luck to all our entrants!

Special thanks to Starzeh and ReceptiveRaptor for lending a hand in helping organize the first-ever Weekly Content Contest - your help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Check out the thread and there are a BUNCH more pictures! The pack is called Fear, and a link is in my thread hub, which you can get to by clicking my signature!
EDIT: My 1000th post!!!!!!!! *celebrates with crazy wild rubberbanditar music*
Agreed! I was tied too, but after I tried them I could tell that the Dark Redemption was better.
Kudos to this person.
EDIT: I also agree with Anon on HD textures. 32x is neat though, but no exception.
No it is not. The texture packs are for 1.8.1. :smile.gif:
Unless someone changed the rules, it's for the most recent official, stable release.
I'm not sure you grasp the concept of a poll.
Mine is actually 1.9. just in case people wanted to use it with a pre-release.
Okay then. :smile.gif:
This is a red herring here. Also HD packs can run without mods but there are errors when this happens. I've honestly never understood the widespread hatred towards HD texture packs in minecraft
I don't really hate packs like Sphax PureBD or Ovo's Rustic, but I dislike trying to make flat areas look too realistic. Your pumpkins, in example, look so... flat and unnatural.
If you are looking at the pictures of pumpkins in the spoiler on the OP of this voting thread, I completely agree. He didn't post my final product. Go HERE if you would like to see what they actually look like.
so I assume you hate playing games like Battlefield, Call of duty, Gran Turismo, or any other HD game.
