There are a number of exceptional mods out there, and this particular gem is certainly one that stands out - Tale of Kingdoms! This massive medieval-themed mod includes a staggering amount of content, featuring interactive NPCs, quests, a guild leveling system, all leading players through a journey to start up their own kingdom! As you progress, you can choose a site for your new city, and have various specialist buildings constructed for your new-found kingdom's benefit! The kingdom can expand over time, and will begin giving the player-king their own stream of income, founding their own army and more! The mod does a remarkable job of integrating itself into normal Minecraft play, without preventing players from doing their own thing, or feeling out of place.

Author TyberAlyx notes that the mod is currently still in development, but is playable right now, and expanding all the time. Give it a look!

I'm thinking this Tale of Kingdoms + Millenaire! should be pretty cool. Although I think the spawn rate of the villages in Millenaire will have to be reduced for the player having it easier to find a place for his\her kingdom. It sure would be AWESOME if both mods would be merged...

Finally, this is what minecraft has needed since the adventure update was announced. Keep up the good work, and cant wait for tier 3 and 4 XD

had it before it got on the frontpage,but maybe add special weapons? like diff colored weapons that can be named and get a special attack(like one sword lights on fire,and anything it hits,and another freezes itself,and anything it hits)

Had this mod when it was just a basic command line... put on original 1940's era glasses before they were considered hipster.

This is awesome! Simply awesome! Makes Minecraft a whole new experience.

This is amazing if u already made a world would the guild generate randomly or will it generate near u were wen u exited the game?
