Digital Diamonds is an ongoing look at Minecraft-related videos that have been submitted to the Minecraft forum video section. We'll be selecting memorable videos and those resonating with the community to share with everyone on the front page.

everyone is complaining because this was put on the front page when there are thousands of interesting, complex ,and beautiful creations that took people days to finish when the creator just threw this together.
sorry to bash on the creator but this doesn't deserve a diamond :sad.gif:
Also, what TP is he using? PM me if you know! :3
Nothing new I posted mine back in January:
This was very clever and far more deserving than repackaged Frogger that a half vegetable-ized patient with brain cancer could make.
Personally, I'm sitting on the fence. The idea itself might be worth the diamond, but the execution could be better. Especially seeing as there were no hostile mobs at all in that video. And I was hoping for a better ending than that... but still, for a proof-of-concept, it's good.
Didn't like.
There's a reason why nobody has done one of these. Want me to share the secret with you?
Because it sucks.
Metropolis is critically acclaimed as one of the best (if not the best) silent 1920's movie ever made. And yet, nobody watches it. Why? Because it's awful.
You can say that the movie's "originality" is adequate justification for its spotlight on the frontpage, but with that pat on the back should come a hard slap to the face. You're not "creative" for being the "first" person to come up with this; you're only stupid for taking pride for something that people with common sense refer to as "boring."
This isn't Charlie Chaplin. This is another poor choice by whoever's in charge of picking the Digital Diamond.
