So far, the following is known:
Step 1 of potion-brewing is to fill the glass bottles with water.
Discovered:

- Brewing Stand
- Cauldron Icon

Edit:
Notch refers to it as the "weird black stuff" - nothing is yet known about it
Curse is Hiring!
We have open positions at Curse! There is a need for a Junior & Senior System Administrator, and an R&D Team Lead! Think you may qualify for one of these positions? Apply here!
But it is amazing , now we wont get mad amounts of food by getting adult animals instantly , we will have to wait
I like how the game makes it more challenging for the player , adding more farming to the game , it is just amazing.
And i also like the potions , some people will think they are just too much like RPG stuff , but it is amazing and works perfectly for the game.
Good job notch.
Newborn animals typically have VERY large heads compared to the rest of their body. Things typically start to equalize within a couple of weeks. So I don't really see any point in changing the baby animals in minecraft.

on another note: I dont like the fact that the cauldron is just a container for water, it should be a mass storage for specific types of potions, for what ive seen so far..
and also this brwing stand is a cool concept but the bottles need to start out empty, and fill when completed, also i think we need more then just this,
like a Mortar and Pestle (new way to make dyes, powders etc) could create smoke bombs by grinding gravel or stone to a dust form.
Alembic to maybe distil more potent potions or derive the required chemical from it.
A 2x1 table that stores the tools on it, rendering them as objects, and has its own recipe, which improves based on tools and use...examples from Obivion perhaps (although Bethesda is being crzy atm...an idea though..)
etc etc..
Fix bugs, make multiplayer more stable, but the one thing that i find dumber than the lawsuit from Bethseda, is breeding of animals, like seriously, what the ****, this ain't farmville!
when i first played this game back in indev i thought it was cool but not worth my money, when i finally bought it at the release of beta, it was the best 21 dollars i ever spent, but now i feel i have spent my money on a game that would only stay good for 10 more months
FIX BUGS, ADD ORES, should i give you ideas? cuz i'll totally fill a box of stuff that should be added, if you ask me i say start with silver, then add rubies or sapphires or emeralds or whatever just make SOMETHING worth an update i mean that image shows you my very first map RUINED thanks to the 1.9 pre-release 2, it still happens in the 3 and i doubt its ever gonna be fixed but thats awful!
Whew, that concludes my rant, your ruining this game guys, i bought this game because i wanted something NEW not another shitty RPG (and thats what minecraft would be if it WAS an RPG)
whatever, i guess i'll stick with the ******** untill this game is dead in a decade at max
That is what i found when i dug out one of the glass pillars, am i the first to notice those strange blue blocks? if so, AWESOME if not, i find it intresting anyway and thought i would share. (created a forum account just for this Lol)
