Yet another great news video!

That said, I sure am looking forward to the release of 1.5. I'll probably remain in 1.4 to keep my mods a little while, but the additions are looking really nice. The bugfixes are also going to be great! It was nice to first hear about the update during Minecon, that's for sure.

What do they mean by "player stats released"? Is there going to be a universal database of minecraft player statistics like kills and block mines?

I don't want to bother with Reddit so i'll just ask here. Anyone looked at that FPS graph yet? I don't know if i'm reading it right ...
From what I can tell it's saying over 100,000 people play at 1~FPS and handful play at over 1000~FPS?

I must be reading this wrong, who would play a game at 1FPS? It's unplayable ... And over 1000? Really? I kinda doubt it ... That handful of people who play at over 1000FPS must be part of the 1% lol. Is Bill Gates a MC member? Or perhaps Jobs found a way to connect from tech heaven?

How many total? I've seen some LP videos where it sure looks like they're getting about 1FPS.

I used to play at about 7fps and after a while you get used to it. I don't think I could go back now that I have a better machine, but if you don't fight mobs and just build, you can play at a pretty low rate.

Well if about 1% of the people are playing at 1000FPS, then yeah... they are part of the 1% by definition :)

On SkyBlock, in a small window, with all the eye candy turned off, I bet a lot of us could get 1000fps.

I hate to ask something like this here, but I don't suppose anyone knows which texture pack they're using near the start? It seems that they used the same one for the last Weekly News too, but using Ctrl+F on both videos comments hasn't given me anything :( Forgive my ignorance, I'm sure it's probably a super well known pack and everything.

I wanted to download the snooper data, and then I saw the massive filesize... my laptop is already quite low on storage space (In drive C: anyway), and it would've taken hours to download. Guess I should've seen it coming. =)

Would be easier if they put it into categories for certain data you want to download.
