Hmm, those look like aqueducts to me.

I wonder if it's ghast proof? I also wish that there was a nether-creeper, like a normal creeper, but it's red and in addition to exploding, it would also catch stuff on fire. (P.S. Sorry if I sound nooby, becuase I kind of am, I got this game about a week before the 1.8 update.)

Unfortunately it seems that Mojang won't even acknowledge the low FPS problem (4-7 FPS on 1.8), so I guess I just don't really care anymore.

What's that blueish looking block on the left top side of the picture.
A new block or distorted coloration of the picture.

for me it look more like a sort of nether wood planks.

If I see it right, there is a block burning on the bridge ( bit to the left of the center). Does this tell us, Netherbrick can burn indefinitely, too ?

thats pretty cool. i hope mojang expands the nether to more than just netherack bricks, however. nether dungeons would be great.

wat r thoose blocks in the background and it looks like theres gonna be netherrack brick fences 2 if u look at the bridges supports

I hope this expands into huge nether ruins, with cities hanging from the ceiling and wrapped around massive pillars spanning from ceiling to floor.

gigantic boney dragons in the nether =D? would be awesome in addition to the bridge/ speculated fort/castle combo

I am hoping they add treasures to the Nether. Make it worth exploring with the risks.
