A short while ago, Notch talked about some of the exciting behavioral changes in animals for 1.8 - most notably, how they will now flee when attacked, rather than stand there and stare at you. This ended up having the added effect of wolf attacks looking more "natural", in a sense, as prey would now flee its attacker, rather than look around blankly and grunt. He went on to say that - due in part to the behavioral changes, and a desire to see more dynamic mob-to-mob interactions - he is beginning a super-secret weekend project! What does it entail?
nope, definatly on drugs, XD just kidding,
im really looking forward to this, and maybe notch will be implementing different genders of mobs, or parental defense, for example, a female cow will attack the player to defend her calfs, or female creepers (for example)
are friendly.
There is a mob in this link http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Monster that could possibly become an inhabitant of npc villages, i'm doubtful that notch is gonna make them spawn in villages tho.
