Saradel has posted a video of a MASSIVE cacti farm. The video claims that the farm can produce 12 cacti blocks a second, and it took Saradel over 50 hours to complete the entire contraption.

Farms are common place in Minecraft, however we have yet to see one as elaborate and well designed as this one!

If you want to see the actual mechanism, just skip the first 80% of the video. It's pretty, but has nothing to do with cactus farming.

this video is like 8 months old, I remember seeing this a while ago, why is it on the front page?the same thought pops into my head as it did when I first saw it....what do you do with all those cacti?

I don't see why everyone gets all giddy over cacti farms. Cactus itself is pretty useless.

What would one do with all that cactus? *i magines giant world, made of nothing but cactus* This is also why we need that one mod that transports stuff into chests. I mean, if people do stuff like this in 53 hours, what could people do in weeks of playtime?

This is so impressive , i might make one like this but... i am really lazy , also that cacti has only 2 uses. and those uses are not that good , but if notch added a really great use for cacti i will start doing something like this!

Well, I think this is not well designed. From one of the comments I just read this is pretty old, so that's actually not bad at the time. Much better designs have been discovered already.

Ohai Niels, yeah there was massive improvements on the farm. We destroyed it, it was causing too much damage on the server.
