We have some exciting news for those of you looking to check out the latest and greatest SMP servers!  We will now be doing reviews on servers from each of our Servers sections - Survival, Creative, Objective, and Hybrid servers, respectively - and we want your help in finding the best ones!

To be considered for a review, a server must be on our Servers list.  Would you like your server to be reviewed, but are not sure how to get on this list?  It's easy!  All you have to do is click on this link, fill out your server details, and you're good to go!

Feel free to tell us here in the comments about any servers you think really stand out.  We look forward to meeting you soon!

All of the Savage Realms servers are just absolutely amazing! I can honestly say I've never seen a better Minecraft community. The staff members interact with the players (and they're NOT jerks) and the amount of time and thought put into Savage Realms is just astounding! My favorite of the servers is the Savage Realms RPG server. Nearly all of the coding is done by the owners (acidsin and cr0ssVtW), there are numerous events built by the staff that are hosted all of the time. Even more importantly than ALL of that is my town on the RPG server, boasting more than 1000 residents and still growing! It's worth seeing. Frankly there's nothing better.

If the questing lifestyle doesn't suit you, the Savage Raid server (faction-based pvp) is always an option. Not to mention the fantastic Events server (sponsored by Minebook) or the Savage Games (Savage Realms Hunger Games) at www.sr-sg.net

As the owner of Might Of Champions I would first like to say that it would be a very honor to have our server reviewed and awesome for the minecraft forums mods to actually take time to come see our work. We offer many different features to keep our players happy.

We are a community driven server.  We are constantly looking for our members to suggest new ideas and when they do we ask ourselves, how can we implement that? We love putting out new features for everyone to enjoy.

All of our worlds are hand painted and are 100% custom.  We recently redesigned some of our larger scale worlds including the competition world, with the RPG island coming out this week, and the pvp world being put on a much more grander scale.

Hello guys and girls! I'm the owner of Rick's Corrupted Prison, TheRickBoy!
I'm here to introduce you to my prison server!

We are one of the best prison servers out here, and we can prove it right now! We are the basic to the orginal, core concept role-play server. The objective is to rank up from C-Block, to Pardoned, and then you can explore the regular vanilla server!

Our community is one of the top notch out there! Our players respect each other and help each other out. But, there's also some party poopers, so that's why we have our mature staff to clear the chat! Our guards who protect the main prison areas, are top notch at PvP and get patrol the area with ease! Don't worry about dying here! Our Wardens help everyone who ask us with a swift matter of time.   But, don't believe us? Look at this post made by the very Sachverral!

Still not impressed?

Our server changes the prison genre with this. GUNS! Yes, guns! No Spout, no client-side mod! We have guns put into the server with our custom plugins! Guns are from the hoes from the game, but, we change it so you can fire and reload them! The guns also provides a zoom in system so you can pickoff anyone from long distances! So far, we have these guns inside our server. We will be adding way more guns in the future!

This is true this a wonderful server and it deserves the spotlight.It has one of the best staff they are very nice, generous, and friendly they will always help you and they are on 24/7.They have everything that you would wish in a server they have events and they are well planed and they have town's, quests (little glitches in it but we are fixing it), also we have a very spectacular spawn and lastly the architectury is very well built and they look magnificent.The community is so nice and they are always there for you even if you are a newby or a newcomer they will always support you and help you.The owners Infanti20 and Battlefoxcox have done so much so we can have this adventures time and the big amount i have played it has been on of the best times i have ever have.You guys should should join this server and this should get the spotlight.

He already said that he wasn't going to review savage realms since he already did in the past.  HE said that he wants to give another server a shot. Plus (an I play on savage realms I am a chat mod so this is just honesty) Savage realms doesn't really need a spotlight they get hundreds of members every day lol. They are their own spot light ha.

While I may be lower staff on Savage Realms, it is not my sworn duty to promote it through this...

But I am compelled to, Savage Realms has great staff, unique plugins, amazing people...

Anything you could want in a Minecraft server, and as the motto states...

There's something for everyone.

Eh, I can't complain about new, decorative blocks. Good job, I guess. Though stuff with new functionality that would be helpful on a regular basis, not a gimmick like a TNT minecart that I'll never use, would be much, much better.

Might of Champions really deserves the spotlight.  There has been so much time put into building and making things look amazing to the players.  The Spawn, the Events world, the Pvp world, the Rpg world.  The Rpg world is absolutely amazing, time has been taken into making each biome we have and building it to the highest standards we can.  Aside from that we have the most friendliest staff and owners that really try to talk and connect with all their players.
  • They have an Events/Game world that has been totally re-done to give a much better feel and to offer a lot more features that are coming soon.
  • PvP world, which is amazing and is always being worked on to improve a players experience.
  • Towny, where players can imagine a town layout they have in mind and bring it to life.
  • Rpg world, Each biome with many hours of work put into each. Rpg world will have so many more features that players can interact with and have a fun experience.  There are also going to be dungeons to be released, that requires the community and their friends to connect/gather together, talk in a chat room, to complete it.
  Constantly working to satisfy all player needs.  A server well worth the spotlight.

woohoo quartz blocks! I am hoping to see those anytime soon. I have so much ideas what to do with those, I tire of using white wool block for architecture touch on roman/greek buildings. I am so looking forward to it.

-If you like Roleplay you choose a class and do quests...
-If you are in to PVP, go to the PVP world and kill other players.
