What does P2 use to select on splitscreen?
You need to use "1" on the numpad if you're using the keyboard. If you're on a small laptop with no numpad then you'll need to wait for a later update which will provide alternative controls.

It's 2 on the number pad. The controls are very confusing...
It's a pretty good game but no variety and also the zombie is just a reskinned Steve... They even have the same special and winning animation.

I suggest everyone pass on this game. The lack of attacking options turn this game into a very blatant and boring button masher. This is nothing like those old-school fighting games we grew up with.

Maybe my age has me biased, but when I think 'old school fighting games', one of the first phrases that would come to mind is 'button masher'. The first thing the video made me think of was Double Dragon, which wasn't exactly known for it's attack diversity. Besides, according to your profile most old-school games were old-school before you were born.
Looks absolutely amazing, and can't wait to give it a try. Think I will need to get the frameworks and stuff again though, as I recently did a fresh windows install, something to look forward to tommorow after work =)

Doesn't mean I haven't played them. Which I have. Most old-school fighting games I've played aren't button mashers, it's just that a lot of people just do it.
This game though, is a button masher, and the lack of variety makes it pretty much the only way to win. So much wasted potential.

You're right to say the gameplay is fairly basic, it definitely is. Considering it's the first version of the first ever fighting game made by the Cubix Games team (a few talented amateurs having fun with CraftStudio), it doesn't cater to hardcore fighting gamers.
What it is though, is a polished fangame with cool art, a fun interpretation of the Minecraft universe, little secrets to discover and just enough gameplay to keep most people entertained for a little while. It's not trying to be anything else, at least not in this first incarnation
Maybe they'll feel like improving on it because of the attention it gathered (they're all psyched by how well it's doing, and so am I!), or maybe they'll move on to another game and make this new one deeper. At the very least I heard a bugfix update is coming.

If you're on Windows, you'll need to install the XNA Framework Redistributable as stated on the website. Mac users will need the Mono runtime. Linux users will need... some patience until the Linux port of CraftStudio is ready
Oh, I was just about to ask why it wasn't opening for me. Thanks :b
I have no idea what this XNA framework thing is but I'll have to give it a look tomorrow once I have access to my computer again.

1. Make the zombie have a different special, as he feels like Steve skinned, and my video game pet peeve is RESKININg CHARACTERS
2. Add an "assist move" where the character calls in an ally. (e.g. Steve calling in a wolf to attack the character or a Pig man spawning a portal where other Zombie pig men come out)
3. New characters, like Enderman? or even a spider idk
4. A campaign mode where (like MK 9) you go threw as each character fighting all the others.
5. I was thinking of new maps like a NPC village or a cave
6. Along with 5 have the background do things like a ghast shooting at the players or chickens dropping eggs out of the sky this would add a bit more for level hazards (also make the option to turn these off because some people find these annoying)
Anyhow thanks a lot for taking your time to read this and my ideas would add a bit more to the game as of know all you do is fight as each character,
P.S. Please please please! Continue this project as this is one of the most creative spin offs of minecraft ever

I love this game! But how do I do the throwing or long ranged attack? I try S + A/D + H and it's just doing the S + H attack.
NVM I got it. I <3 this game
