Happy New Year, from MCSpotlights' David and Toby!
Minecraft has been officially released for over a year now, and has existed - along with the best community ever - for much longer than that, stretching as far back as 2009! We have been very excited to provide everyone with the best place for an incredible community to hang out, share ideas and stories, creations, and so much more for all this time. From everyone here at Minecraft Forum, we wish you a happy 2013, happy holidays, and of course, happy Minecrafting!

Happy New Year! It's been my first full year as a minecrafter and I have loved it. I have noticed as well that most of the community is so much better than other games. Most people are helpful and kind. Cheers!
