Happy New Year, from MCSpotlights' David and Toby!



Minecraft has been officially released for over a year now, and has existed - along with the best community ever - for much longer than that, stretching as far back as 2009!  We have been very excited to provide everyone with the best place for an incredible community to hang out, share ideas and stories, creations, and so much more for all this time.  From everyone here at Minecraft Forum, we wish you a happy 2013, happy holidays, and of course, happy Minecrafting!

We could go on for hours about our favorite moments of 2012, but forget that for a minute - what are your favorite Minecraft memories of 2012?  Tell us about it!

My favorite minecraft related thing? Probably when me and Sean booby trapped Dalton's house and then blew it up before using the super pick mod to destroy the map.... seriously, anywhere where near spawn was destoryed. haha. We had a lot more epic times like that, from OP picking on the regular players. Burning down forests, fighting each other just because we can. Good times, good times.

Happy new Year To All Minecrafters I Have Been Playing Minecraft Since 1.7 Never Even Thought About Them Adding Fireworks or any of this So Much Has Happened on minecraft thanks to mojang without them it would not have existed HAPPY NEW YEAR MOJANG

Favourite moment of 2012 was obviously the apocalypse. If all future ones all go like this then the human race should do fine :)

Happy new year (I'm a bit late, aren't I?)!

Congrats, minecraft and its creators! It's been a great year! I certainly remember 2012 as the year I got my first server running.... after about a month of trying to figure out port forwarding >_<

Good luck, Mojang, and may the updates flow like water over my obsidian foundry!

My favoret moment in 2012 would have to be getting Minecraft for the first time (1.0) in 2011(but in 2012). I feel proud to have Minecraft for over a year now. Have a happy 2013 to all! Sorry Herobrine im counting you out, I dont like it when you grief my stuff.

my Favourite part of minecraft in 2012 was when i quit minecraft in 1.2.5 then came back and it was 1.4.6 and had alot of interesting updates
