That's right, MCX360 is getting updated very soon! How soon? December 19th, 2012! The latest update will bring the XBLA sandbox game nearly up to speed with the 1.0 release of PC Minecraft, including a ton of new features.
- Animal Breeding
- Brewing

This is only scratching the surface of all the updates coming on the 19th, and let's not forget about all the awesome new avatars, coming soon!
It seems that every version of Minecraft is going through a series of very exciting changes as we approach the end of 2012. PC Minecraft is edging ever-closer to the Modding API, Pocket Edition adds more blocks, tools, monsters, and features with every iteration, and MCX360 is rapidly closing the gap between itself and PC Minecraft, while adding some special goodies unique to itself.

When are PC's skins gonna be updated at all??

And to anyone saying we should have skin transparency, think about the people that would abuse it to be invisible.
1. we DO have skin transparency
2. just as the XBox version we cant have out skins FULLY transparent

First Great Job guys, can't wait for the next one... and don't want to dampen any holiday spirits.
However, the new xBox version scrambles the bioms on existing worlds. My favorite word is now 75% snow covered. Why would it be snowing in the desert???
This particular world had a 12 position rail station with structures all over it so I'm deeply disappointed to see all this snow. If you guys had introduced seasons, that could be cool, but it's literally too cool and the world is now basically unplayable.
I wish you would add a feature to the random seed generator that would allow you to limit the max size of any particular biom to some value (like under 50%.). More than once, I've had it generate an entire worlds as 95% water or desert.
One other tweak for some future version, when you place painting do't select them randomly, cycle through them one by one so I know I can get to the one i really want eventually.
Again Great Job, Take some time off and drink some holiday cheer.

1: Agreed.
2: They can make limitations, e.g. if there are no visible pixels on the head or torso, those areas will remain black.
Or, some servers can choose which skins have those rules. Some people could run around completely invisible, like if they don't want people to see them. (Creative servers?)
Limitations! Great idea should be implemented if transparent skins come out
