Build contests are always a good time. Two (or more) creative minds clashing on the battlefield of architecture, to see who can concoct the most awe-inspiring structure in the shortest amount of time, always seems to draw a crowd. Today, we have a special treat in this, the most sacred of build-offs!
YouTuber GazamoNetwork has come up with an incredibly clever form of build contest, and it is amazing to watch! Contestants have a set time to build the most impressive structure they can manage, but there's a slight twist - viewers decide who wins! That's right, you are the judges! So be sure to give this video a look, choose your winner, and vote!

Wow, TOTAL ripoff of "Minecraft Quick Build Challenge." Pretty upset that this unoriginal, badly made and badly edited ripoff of MQBC got to front page.

I actually think the editing of this is much better. As for originality, they certainly didn't make this post. It was just a matter of what got spotted by the Minecraftforum people first.

[/quote] That is actually wrong, as this video had 18 views before it was posted to the forums. They didn't make the post, they made the video, which is bad enough. It lacks creativity, which is what "creative" mode is all about.

I know for a fact that this video had at least five thousand views before achieving the front page. And most certainly they have done a unique take on MQBC. This seems more... professional.

18 views? That made me laugh (no offense) This video was front page on Planetminecraft.
About creativity, screw that. That is like saying I have copyright on fiction books. "You can never make a fiction book ever cause I said no!" It's a minecraft build battle. How the heck else are they supposed to do it?

But when do we get an actual content update
for Minecraft? All we've gotten were a bunch
of updates that fixed a few bugs each.

Yeah, yeah, it's a great build contest.

Look at this: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Redstone_Update
(It's the Minecraft Wiki page on content for 1.5... it looks like another gigantic update!)

I find it hard how the writer even missed the hundreds/thousands of other build challenges.
Lets compare this to MQBC by RageGamingVideos.
Both have viewer voting
Both have a different topic every episode
Both build in predefined, next-to-eachother areas.
Both are running a 'Winner stays in' system currently.
Rage's series came before this. A long time before this. Running on RGVs and MachinimaRealm.
Now tell me this idea is:
