Mojang published a Better Together FAQ this week, including the news that the new version of Minecraft will be a free upgrade for those who already own the game, and that unfortunately there's still no plan to bring the game to Playstation due to Sony's reluctance.
A small bug-fix update, Minecraft 1.12.1, was released for Minecraft on PC this week. The update adds some optimisations, fixes a security issue with the Recipe Book and adds a few missing names to the game credits.
