Minecraft At Sydney Opera House

This July Minecraft is coming to the Sydney Opera House, with a number of activities for attendees and special guests: Jens and Lydia from Mojang!

We invite you to an extraordinary live experience celebrating one of the most popular games on the planet!

Battle it out in Australia’s first official Minecraft Competition, watch all the action unfold on the Sydney Opera House stage and join us for a special presentation from Mojang's Jens Bergensten (Lead Developer) and Lydia Winters (Brand Director).

Outside the theatre you can learn new skills from Minecraft experts, hang out with hundreds of like-minded crafters and snap a selfie. Then head to the Free Play Zone powered by Samsung to challenge your friends with Minecraft available across a range of devices. You can even teach your parents the basics of survival in the Education Zone.

Whether you’re new to Minecraft or a grizzled, diamond-clad pro, there’s something for every crafter at this sensational new event.

The event takes place on Sunday July 2nd and Monday July 3rd. Tickets start at $35 and is for ages 8+.

You can learn more and purchase tickets here on the Sydney Opera House website.
