  • Minecraft 1.12, the World of Color update, has been released to everyone on PC! Sunlight yellow, chili red, royal blue, midnight black, grass green, lilac purple, true lime, fresh salmon, hot cappuccino, pretty much all of the off-white, annoying cyan, alpha-tested magenta, that brown-greenish barf shade... the World of Color update is here
  • Following the launch of the Minecraft Marketplace last week, Minecraft.net talk with the artists behind the Marketplace’s launch line-up. "With the launch of Marketplace we wanted to get some of these powerful Photoshop wizards on board: Eneija, Sphax, Razzleberry Fox, Polymaps and Imagiverse have all worked to change how the game looks, in ways little and large. Here’s a quick round-up of who they are and what cool things they’ve made for Marketplace!"
  • Mojang have released 2 new Minecraft guidebooks, Minecraft Guide to Exploration and Minecraft Guide to Creative are available to buy now. "The official Minecraft Guide to Exploration from Mojang will help you to survive and thrive. You’ll learn how to find resources, craft equipment and protect yourself from hostile mobs. Discover which biomes to avoid when starting out, how to build a mob-proof shelter and where to look for naturally-generated structures laden with loot."
  • RazzleberryFox shares a preview of her upcoming medieval themed pack for the Marketplace.
  • The Skyrim mash-up pack previously released to console editions of the game is now available for Pocket and Windows 10 editions. "As well as dressing up as the Dragonborn, you can roleplay as Stormcloak soldiers, Khajiit merchants, vampire lords, Spriggans, Draugr Deathlords and more. Familiar characters, like Lydia, Elenwen and the nefarious Nazir will offer their skins, too."
