Announced today, Friday June 2nd is the official release date of the 1.12 World of Color update.

This update brings a number of notable new features to Minecraft, and includes a whole host of bug fixes and improvements.
- New colored blocks are added; Concrete and concrete powder, Glazed Terracotta
- Parrots in multiple colors
- Knowledge Book
- Replacing Achievements with Advancements
- Narrator – says what is typed in chat out loud (Ctrl+B to turn on)
- Many new commands
- Beds are dyeable, using all 16 colors
- Illusioner, a new illager
- New sounds
- Functions
