Coming as a surprise to few, Minecraft is rapidly climbing the best-selling charts on the Nintendo eShop, for the Wii U. Now, it's important to distinguish between "current top 10", and "top 10 of all time" - Minecraft has, in barely a week, breached the top 10 selling games of all time on the Wii U, beating out numerous other titles with a great deal more tenure on the shop.
Minecraft has dominated virtually every platform it has come to in the last few years. We still remember when it broke sales records on the XBox, and the game continues to hold top spots - both the core game, and Minecraft: Story Mode - on Playstations 3 and 4, to say nothing of the massive sales numbers for Pocket Edition. To date, PC Minecraft has cleared 21 million sales, averaging around 20,000 new purchases a day. Crazy!
