Mojang is now officially off for the winter holiday! It has been a crazy year for updates; version 1.9 alone has seen 20 snapshots in 2015 (15w31a through 51), along with a huge pile of changes and fixes. 1.9, as a full version, will likely see release in early 2016. We can't wait!
