Dinnerbone has been talking recently about adding prompts in Minecraft for players with hearing difficulties. A little earlier today, a short video clip was released showing how this works so far, with critter noises, certain environmental events, and more, being represented with small, on-screen text prompts. (Still no word on whether the creeper sound prompt includes a taunt about destroying one's home, however.)
There has been no set date for this particular feature as yet, though at present, it is believed to be coming with the next version update. What other features could be added to Minecraft to assist with impaired players?
