If you're anything like me, you load up your hotbar in Minecraft with all sorts of stuff - food, tools, blocks, everything. Sometimes though, 9 slots just isn't enough, and you end up juggling your inventory and hotbar constantly, as your building, fighting, or other needs change. Wouldn't it be nice if there were a workaround, a faster way to swap items to and from the hotbar? MinecraftEdu's Kulttuuri has the answer - the Quick Hotbar Mod!
How it works is simple: hold down Ctrl, and you can swap between any of your 27 inventory slots and the hotbar, nearly instantly! This greatly reduces the amount of time spent digging around in your inventory, re-arranging everything constantly. With a few quick keypresses, you can have access to anything in your inventory without ever slowing down on your build, having to swap out between tools, weapons, or food, or anything else!
At present, this mod only works in Single-Player, although there are plans to expand it to be compatible on multiplayer servers. It works in 1.6.4, 1.7.2, and 1.7.10.
