Are you ready for a round of forum updates? Our dev team is hard at work bringing improvements, changes, and more to the forum, based entirely on your feedback! This process is ongoing (let's face it, there's always something that can be added or changed for the better), and this is just the first round of updates.

FORUM CHANGELOG:

  • Readability re-work for forum posts
  • Server performance increased, page load time decreased
  • Layout improvements in thread lists, pagination display improved
  • Members can now delete their own polls
  • Thread prefixes enabled in all relevant sections (take a look!)
  • "My Threads" option added to "Welcome, username!" drop down: quick access to your discussions!
  • Warning acknowledgement modal bug fixed for the small number of members affected
  • Nested quotes disabled
  • Post maximum length increased from 75,000 to 120,000 characters
  • Warning appeal styling improved
  • Editor overflowing on profile comments and about me has been fixed
  • Warning messages improved
  • After a post is "liked", the "like" can be removed by clicking "x"
  • My Titles improved to clearly indicate buttons
  • Members can now choose to hide all avatars and/or all signatures (via My Preferences)
  • Post counts now reflect true post count
  • Links containing encoded/invalid characters (mediafire, dropbox) now work in posts
  • Style improvements to notifications in the net bar, notification count size increased
  • Style improvements to About Me
  • Latest server ads widget now orders threads in latest order
  • YouTube embed improvements
  • "Last unread post" fixed
  • Design improvements to color menu in editor
  • Code tags now encode HTML instead of stripping
  • Numerous (and major) improvements to moderation and site management tools (they're a secret though! :( )
  • Poll results visibility restored!
  • Smilies and links work in all posts
  • Design improvements for the My Subscriptions page
