Congrats to Sphax for being showcased! I love Unbelievable Shaders mod, looks great with every texture pack that I've used. Plus it runs quite perfectly on any computer, heck, even my old 2010 laptop! Where would Minecraft be without mods?

I await the release of Notch's new game 0x10c, as well as the release of Scrolls, the wait is worth it!

I know I'm first, but please, no cookie for me thanks ( :; ) One of the choc chips melted anyway

and first :3
shiz... so close...
Anyway, cool story. Spahx[-Pure, as I call it, is a texture I've used for a long time, and it has needed to be featured.
Always watching ewe

i been using Sphax purecraft since it first came out ,i use optifine to install it even though my system dont need it ( i love the zoom feature with it)

side note -- the intro sounds like a cheesy sex radio show    " Hello and welcome to minecraft sex chat with your host Sacheverell "
Safer to lurk then to post and help

I've always loved and used pure bd craft... I like it better than lb realism and painterly. It just is so awesome.

I did not even know there were x512 Textures.
Anyway, I strongly recomend Shaders. It looks like a whole new game.

why don't they ever give a link to the mod and texture pack itself other than just the creators.

Lolwut? The unbelievable shaders mod is quite CPU intensive. And 2010 is not old.

The leaves will wave just as the grass will if you use the right settings. But they kind of look like jello when you do.

Glad Sacheverell is doing the speaking and showcases mostly now. Whoever those British guys were that did them before were absolutely TERRIBLE speakers.

The Sphax pack is one of the best textures out there, I use it myself. The Shaders mod is perfect as well. It adds such a better experience.

very good choices for a preview
the trees don't wave cause it was a bit buggy in the last versions and they can only animate each block, not all of them together.
the bug was that one side of the leafes didn't wave it was locked to it's position but you can enable it in the config (minecraft.jar/shader/) dunno what file but on the forumpage of the mod are presets that you can copy there

another cool effect is the ray of god (found in final.fsh) that adds sunbeams to edges

the watermod was till now incompatible to GLSL shader (what sonics shader is mostly)
they are working on a compatibility now at the moment, thats why the update takes so long

I have PureBDCraft, its awesome! One thing though...once they enable HD textures and mods to be added without deleting the META.inf file i will be elated
