We are at PAX East, with an eye on the upcoming MCX360 game!  Check out exclusive gameplay footage, info and more right here!

MCX Gameplay Footage!


400 Achievement Points; patches will be released on an ongoing basis (not like previous xbox games), but slightly behind pc in development.  No modding will be possible, except community features - for example, you can join friends' worlds, which save themselves, and you can return to them later.  The tutorial demonstrates the crafting table, creating tools, preparing for mobs at night time.


Exclusive Gameplay, Part 1:



Help tips appear throughout the game, which explain new concepts as the player progresses. Multiplayer and singleplayer are the same; you can switch to multiplayer or singleplayer from the same world, without having to be in an SSP or SMP "mode".


Exclusive Gameplay, Part 2:


Footage of the crafting screen and all the different items. Leaderboards are present, although it's not yet known what they will feature.  True to the XBOX, Achievements will be available - it wouldn't be the same without them!

I don't use mods either, of the most part, but it's still a rather integral part of the game.
More so when they get the modding api done.  Eventually.

Well what could I do without Redpower 2, Thaumcraft 2, Buildcraft, Industrial Craft 2, or Equivalent Exchange?

Nothing without slimes, that's for sure.

I only use the optifine mod because I don't have a powerful laptop, So other than that mod I don't use any.

Meh... guess I'll stick to the PC version, unless they decide to allow modding later on...

I really like the idea of split screen MP, that's a great feature.

And BTW, I don't think I'd still be playing if it wasn't for mods.  I bought Minecraft a year ago, and the mods have kept the game interesting for that long.  Vanilla MC got boring after a month, and first it was TooManyItems, then it was Zombe's Mod, then Rei's Minimap, and then SPC, modloader, Forge...well, you get the point.  If you don't try out the mods, you are only playing a small piece of what MC has to offer.

I can't WAIT for this, it already looks completed but they aren't done yet, I know. But it looks great, makes me wish 100000000x more that I had an Xbox. I was actually (don't mock me for this) lucky to get the Wii I own. But I would trade away that Wii for an instant for an Xbox. Keep up the good work, 4J Studios!

Just as long as I can turn PVP off.Im all good.I know the xbox community mostly has a bunch of assholes.And I dont want killed every time I spawn.

Yes. The first time I saw it I immediately hated it, probably because everyone was showing off that its graphics were millions times better...

Every time I see it I shudder.

i don't have a xbox but i have the pc version as long i can play minecraft i am happy and i don't think i would need a xbox because  i am  i i  am more used to computers than consoles

yes, everybody only cares about the graphics of a game nowadays, i prefer a good storyline above good graphics, i have seen a few games with good graphics but no physics at all.(all bus games by TML-studios)
