Whilst it's nice to watch an interview with Jeb about minecraft's possible future... Seriously Curse? Who decided that the editing was ok? :S It's really off putting :(

They need to add multi-threading to support non-lag multiplayer before the ModAPI. That is the BIGGEST thing needed I think.

So the Bukkit team joins Mojang to provide an official API and CraftBukkit is now the official server, but then the Bukkit team loses half their team members during the process causing Bukkit/CraftBukkit development to come to a near halt even without the extra workload of adding an API into the client engine... and this is supposed to make Minecraft better how?

I would think the api would come out in 1.3, but I wouldn't get my hopes up...
