Minecraftforum.net is currently in read only mode while our team perform essential software upgrades to improve site performance. During this maintenance period all posts will remain accessible, however you will be unable to use any account functions.

Also what's with messing with our avatars, majority of those I've seen so far, including my own, are borked now. Bah.

And still getting slow loading, images missing, forum missing it's background/styles, and:

wtf this update is god damn stupid seriously wtf? Couldn't you have hinted at a freaking new interface? This sucks really really bad compared to the last one. Dissapointment all around with the website today

Users lack the mental capacity to have intelligent discussion, and mods lack the mental capacity to make intellegent decisions... I give up trying to share my intelligence with the world.

Every interface has been "upgrading" lately. Xbox is terrible, Youtube, and now Minecraft Forum...

I can't wait until this update gets "fleshed out".
The pinned topics look like regular topics, which is a little disorientating, but I like the fact we will see more coming.
I hope to see version and resolution tags on texture packs, and a way to filter by these.

My favorite feature so far is the ability to see how many people are following a thread.
