Pocket Edition Updates

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the upcoming Minecraft - Pocket Edition updates, and with the promise of Survival being added to the hand-held port, players have been anxious to enhance their portable experience. Now, the wait for an update is drawing to a close - Carl tweeted only minutes ago that the Pocket Edition updates will be released as early as tonight! The Android version will likely see the update first, with other platforms following suit in the near future.

I must be confused, but I do believe that Curse didn't understand they were turning the torch on and off too fast, causing it to burn out. That feature's always been there. Or has this actually been changed and they provided a poor demonstration?

@Skylinerw it is the sound that is new ...
with chunks that saves the biome we only need regional weather in addition and it would be perfect :D

The sound itself being new or the fact that it makes sound? Because it made sound in the past when it burnt out.

the redstone torch thing was always there , its nothing new, i tested it in 1.1 to be sure

i just got the update for it on android. it force closes when u create a new world. They are tools. stone set. and sheers. but i didn't see a option for survival, unless it gives u a choice when u create a new world

YEAH BUDDY! Out on Android!!! SURVIVAL MODE!!!!!!!!! You have to create a new world for it. Almost didn't catch it. Also sheep. and swords. and doors. and mushrooms you can pick up. Basically just download it.
