This week, I take an in-depth look at Misa's 64x Realistic Texture Pack! Many of you are likely familiar with this incredible pack, which combines high quality textures with an eye for performance. In addition, I had the opportunity to discuss the pack's history with Misa, and so touch on the amazing journey this pack has undergone from start to finish. Don't like it, I think in fact it's quite ugly. But well, that's not weird considering the facts xD

This was the first texture pack I ever tried back in the days and I still come back to it regularly after dabbling with others. Outstanding pack!

I have a ton of respect for Misa. She's really produced a full texture pack. Not just blocks, but items, creatures, absolutely everything. It looks good, it doesn't depart too radically from the original look for the most part, and she's great at keeping it up to date as new things come in. I'm really pleased to see her work getting some love. Now if only Optifine would get similar treatment (unless it already has and I just missed it!).

Thanks for the support. :) I plan to keep the pack updated for as long as Mojang is still updating the game. And even if updates stop, I imagine I'll probably still have more content to add for third party features as well.

Too low res for me so I use LB Photorealism which barrows heavily from it though. 256x with water shaders FTW.

Such a fantastic texture pack... been using it for a long time. That video doesn't do it justice though.

Okay... I've experienced a few "bugs," perhaps... maybe someone can help.

Occasionally, the borders around the inventory will disappear.
Occasionally, when I go to smelt/cook/craft, the background will be white.
Rarely, when it starts to rain, the screen will turn white, save the blocks/area directly adjacent to me.

Restarting Minecraft will fix this... but... does anyone else have these occasional thangs happenin'?

But seriously... I do like this texturepack... very much.
