The game of Spleef has a long and telling history, reaching the height of popularity in Minecraft Classic. Even today, nearly every large server you visit has a Spleef arena somewhere, with regularly scheduled tournaments, special-occasion events and more. The game is simple enough - knock out blocks from underneath your opponent while they try to do the same to you. Whoever falls first, loses. Rules and specifics beyond that tend to vary from server to server, but the core of the game tends to form the foundation regardless of house rules.

This video shows off a Spleef tournament, with one slight variation - it comes with its own sports announcer and overlays! Done in the stylings of a major sporting event, this vid sensationalizes Spleef in a way that's sure to entertain, take a look!

Cool that it's spleef, but come on guys, there hasn't been a user submitted video promoted in ages. You guys always promote Curse's stuff. Whatever happened to user videos :(

This is a neat twist on spleef arenas, sure, but does it really matter that much? When is anyone going to make a new creation, mod, race, map, minigame, or even idea? Its getting way to repetitive in the MCForums news.

Meh, this was a boring vid. Why don't they post some peoples creations more often or some videos not from curse.

On that survey, is RACING not a genre anymore? I mean I know there aren't that many racing games in comparison to other kinds, or ones worth playing at least, but come on, seriously curse? Get your shit together. There were other mistakes in there i'm sure others have pointed out. Like Jimmyz ^ lol

Seen and built more better arenas(viewing seats,redstone,light control,and areas for people to buy(shop or adds(server),and under snow spectating with details)And curse technically stole something too.CURSE WHATS HAPPENED TO YOU!!!!??
