This week, we have some exciting news! David and Toby touch briefly on the recent acceptance by LEGO for a fully-fledged Minecraft-themed line of toys, Mojang's comments on their recent SOPA blackout, the possibility of altering slimes' spawning places in future updates, and more. Additionally, they mention Notch's recent poll, revamps to the Skeleton AI, news on the recently revealed ocelot mob, and the ability for players to shoot ghast-like fireballs at will. Give it a look!

They should give jungle slimes a different color. Give a little bit more variation in the game.

It would be cool if the desert well was part of an ancient Pigman civilization, and you can explore lost tombs, like strongholds!
BTW, LEGO + Minecraft = Too Amazing for words!

When I saw the word LEGO in this post, I thought, wow those people at LEGO read my diary. When I first started playing Minecraft, I compared the whole idea of it to LEGOs then I just... Wow. That's just awesome that LEGO would do that! I'll buy! Here's somethin' for LEGO and the Mojang and Minecraft team:
:GoldBar: :Diamond: :GoldBar: :Diamond: :GoldBar: :Diamond: :GoldBar: The gold is for LEGO, and the diamond is for Mojang and Minecraft homies. You guys ROCK!

I completely agree. No mobs spawn in the desert biome naturally
Isn't there a mod with a sandworm? That would be cool in the real game Notch

I think that Jungle Slimes should have different effects than standard slimes, and maybe a different drop, too... and perhaps they could leave, like, a slime trail behind them? THAT would be cool, if not incredibly annoying! Also, I think that they should still only spawn beneath a certain level, perhaps like 55 or something, just to keep it balanced.

Still though, seriously, this looks like an awesome update, Jeb! Keep up the good work! I knew that only good things could come from the guy who created Pistons... More stuff like this and I will be happy forever. :iapprove:
