It would seem that there is some dispute with recent events, specifically between Mojang's Notch and the crew of Yogscast.  While Notch has commented on his side of the tale, Yogs has stated that they will comment on the situation when they arrive home in the UK, and have not officially responded as yet.

The dispute seems to revolve around the Yogscast crews' alleged behavior during the convention.  While tensions seem high, there has not yet been a direct conflict between the two parties.  Indeed, the interview between Yogscast and Notch seemed quite positive, indicating that the incident may simply be a misunderstanding.  We will be posting updates as they become available - check back frequently!

I've heard about this "fight" but have seen no details. Other than apparently Notch hadn't seen a single Yogscast video prior to Minecon.

What exactly are they fighting about?

This is like celebrity gossip, they take a piss and we have to know about it?

Except this is not a piss, this is an argument.
Apparently, the Yogscast swore at some kid and made Notch go off on a tirade due to how they acted.

I'd love to see how they viewed this.

To see the dispute, go to Notch's Twitter and read what he tweeted recently.

Eep, this is bad PR for everyone... The yougscast should just say they were either: Drunk, annoyed at so many people asking for signatures, had jetlag, were sleep-deprived, that they were joking, or that someone had taken control of their actions with a deathnote and they are going to die in a few days, or any combination of those. Then Notch should say something like "I can't pay you to come to the next minecon or even endorse you, but I understand this has all been a big misunderstanding and I forgive you." and then there would bee a big happy ending FTW!

in Wales, the adults get f-bombed by children, the adults swear back, and the teens make fun of them for swearing at each other.
in England its practically the same, so whats wrong with Brits swearing, its literally how we speak. don't be racist notch ;)

but on the other hand, by no means did Yogscast make minecraft famous. i found it through an Asian kid ;)

I learned about Minecraft from Paulsoresjr!  It's a shame to hear this occured, but seeing how the Yogscast can be sometimes, I wouldn't doubt the truth of it all.

To the people who think this isn't a big deal:

Minecon is Mojang's event. When the Yogscast dropped the f-bomb in front of children, they are defacing and disrespecting Mojang. Notch took it seriously because he loves and adores his fans. He's a good man and doesn't want people ruining his reputation. Understandable, right? The Yogscast need to learn how to control themselves.

Why do game devs make it so hard to like them. Seriously.

This is truly sad, and I feel bad for both people and groups involved in it. I am a huge fan of Notch and the Yogscast, and I would feel much relief if this dispute was solved. I am not sure of what happened, and before I can offer my opinion on how to fix it, I would need to know what happened. I wish both of them the best of luck in resolving this issue!
