Prepare for the alpha buyers creating threads thinking that they deserve the xbox version for free.

Hmm, looks like the crafting recipes are all in-game.   That's a feature I would like to see in the PC version.

I was just look at the controls... they work extremely well. Crafting and everything looks so awesome, I really can't wait for this.

Wow Mojang, way to release it for one of the lowest graphically capable gaming systems out there. Even on HDMI it will look like crap, PS3 should have been the way to go. I wonder why Mojang even took the "bribe" from microsoft when they would have made tons more money. The Xbox system is vulnerable to piracy, compared to PS3 which is ahrder to hack and pirate games. I know tons of people that would have bought this as soon as it came to PS3. I just hope Mojang will accommodate [b]ALL[/b] minecrafters.

Uh, dude? Minecraft isn't supposed to be HD. It's 16 pixel by 16 pixel blocks. Not to mention that if they make it Konnect (spelling ?) compatible... THAT would be pure epicness.

If they release it as an alpha version, you'd have to buy it again when it updates. Although that worked fine for Gran Turismo 5...

He's talking more about client-side, you can't hack your PS3 to install cracked games.  360 isn't that hard to.  Also, Sony did encrypt peoples credentials.  Note that they migrated and upgraded their server centers after the attacks, too.

IMO PS3 would have a way bigger market, Total Miner has already consumed most of the 360's market for this game. Minecraft for the Wii U would be awesome, having inventory on the controller and such.
