I still don't understand why u would want to play games on the iphone/ipod touch that requires u to press onscreen D-pad. its just not efficient and if u start sweating on ur fingertips it becomes abit unresponsive. Don't hate on me, im a apple guy.

What is iOS? Is it something like Android or Symbian?
Apple

Stands for something probably really boring.

It's the Operating System that is used by the iPhone, the iPod Touch, the iPad, and the Apple TV (2nd generation).
And I'm pretty sure that you'll agree with me, the OS isn't boring.
(I don't want to argue about it on the thread, so please flame me through PM :P )

I don't know why everyone is so excited... if you want to play it on the go buy a laptop. This is going to be like the earliest alpha version, it will get boring real fast. And the fact that you will probably spend twice as much time building something you could than if you did it no the computer. They are going to be starting this from the very beginning stages, and update it like the PC version has. Except the PC version has Notch and Jeb so it's going pretty good. These other versions will probably take longer to update, bug fix etc.

iOS is a little like Android, except it's used on the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad/iPad 2.

But, This is awesome. I can't wait to try it out! =D

It's about damn time.

@lobstilops The reason playing Minecraft on a laptop isn't the same is because you can't pull a freakin' laptop out of your back pocket.
