I like this mod (played it as a part of RPG Immersion pack from FTB Launcher), but I have seen a lot of issues with consistency that seriously affect my interest in the mod. Fixing these would help greatly in keeping players involved.
First and foremost: consistently mark items for their attributes. Since Ender Bow didn't have an "ammo" requirement as part of its description, I thought it didn't need ammo. When it did, I was peeved. There are quite a few items like this, so it'd be great if they were consistently marked.
An addition that could be made to this system is for enchantability. Some items are enchantable, others are not. The differences between them seems somewhat arbitrary to me, so it'd be nice to have a tooltip for that.
Another couple of item bugs/suggestions
1: The Bowhead anchor projectiles don't render on all screens, just the firing player's.
2: Inferno armor allows fire to exist on a player and to cause damage ticks. Damage ticks eliminate upward momentum, so the issue of being on fire isn't removed at all. I'd suggest removing damage ticks from lava and removing the fire debuff instantly with inferno armor. That change would make the armor much better in my opinion.
I'm here to report a bug. In C3, unexpected block updates (furnace lights, gravel falls, etc) while using multi-core chunk loading can cause the chunk to disappear until a (seemingly) arbitrary time later.
Additionally, destroying blocks doesn't update adjacent blocks properly, f.e. destroying a block that a torch is resting on will not destroy the rendered torch, but I think it destroys the actual torch.
I'd like to join this server! I may only come on every once in a while, but I know some basic redstone use (transistors, basic BUD switces, basic light switches), and I like to build stuff. If you'd have me, it'd be great!
Vechs, I really like what you did here. The attention to detail is amazing, and the experience is very immersive, especially when playing with friends. Thanks for these awesome maps!
Is it possible to get chatroom support? We could have chatrooms that require ranks to have access, so that Bs could talk with only Bs or higher, and the same for Free players. I think this would be very nice, as I don't like how loud the chat is currently.
It's been suggested before and we'll take a look at it but the problem with that is, it would devalue death.
I understand what you mean, but I already am doing the same by leaving less than $100 on me at any given moment. I think that you could potentially put no interest on the bank, and then the loans would more than make up for the money saved from death loss. If this is not the case, then it is possible to make a negative interest, where it costs money to put money into the bank. Either of these solutions will sequester money in a similar way to dying, and I think will excite players.
Could we get a money bank? A bank wherein people invest money and get interest, and from which people can take out loans? It could automatically adjust the interest rates to the loan revenues as well! If you want, I can make a formula for the interest rate based on the loans. This could be a very interesting thing for this server.
I have an issue. B section is completely without guards, and there are many pvp abusers with iron armor and diamond swords. I think that a way to deal with this effectively is to auto-jail people who kill using swords.
This detention center seems poorly designed. The fact that right next to the bank is a pvp abuse spot seems foolish, and the deathtrap potion entrance is downright stupid. I suggest that these two issues be resolved, as it would make the place better overall.
As well, could we get automatic jailing for certain offences (i.e. non-guard c member killing with a sword)? I think this would drastically cut down on PVP abuse.
Okay, I'm having an issue. I installed Modloader using MCPatcher, and I'm getting an error "failed to load 'mod_EE.class'". I have the Equivalent Exchange .zip in my /mods folder, but I don't think this would cause said issue. I'm running Ubuntu 10.10, can anyone help me?
