I found out how to fix it do this
1: If you dont have the 1.5.2 launcher get it youll need it
2: once you have the old launcher log in your username and password as usual but dont start it up
3: Go to the options button by the login and press Force update
4: Then play the games it might take a bit to start up let it get done with that then exit out once its up like normal
and log in to 1.6.4 and that should do it (your welcome)

there is nary a spec of proof of this, they just said that. Seriously WarZ, DayZ, The names are way to similar and also WARZ SUCKS!
DayZ sucks as much pretty much but its in alpha and they don't expect you to pay for it also soon its going to have a free[citation needed on the free part] standalone version

Those are improper names of the games and also WarZ IS the same thing but you have to pay for it and there's a STORE and also its worse because you could just go buy a weapon on the store and its a FINISHED GAME and sucks as much as DayZ but you cant blame DayZ because its in ALPHA not a full game and will soon have a standalone version

I'm not sure if there's any free game similar to Dayz but if you have half life 2,there's plenty of hl2 mods that are zombies related.

WarZ = Beta [1.0]
DayZ = Alpha [Insert current version number at this date here]
WarZ is as sucky as Dayz but WarZ is beta....Thats bad :T
