HoS is on hiatus, I'll update again when I feel like going back to Minecraft.
Right now Elder Scrolls Online took over my life while I'm also drowning in a pile of work
and my own comic project (those are actually paying my bills).
Yes, adulting responsibility sucks...
No, I do not allow any one to go a 'continue' version of my pack.
This i my baby and it's suppose to be a hobby for me.
No, I haven't release Aether2 support pack yet, some people may be able to use it
since they are my testers. Still no time to continue working on it.
Yes, I will make 1.10 version, but right now I'm really busy with my main job.
The resource pack is going to have to wait. I'm a working person who do this pack only as a hobby. :\
Hopefully I'll have free time in July.
It's almost done anyway.
I only have some villager textures to fix and 1.10 mobs and block to cover...
who would have thought they'll release 1.10 this quick...
Unfortunately, I've encountered an issue. The hardened yellow stained clay blocks have been replaced with pink and black checkered blocks. I asked a few others, but they're not having the same issue. I'm not sure what the problem is, but hopefully you can help. Here is a log:
It's just 1.9 issue 'cause the pack you're using is for 1.8, the fix is already included in the new version, just not releasing it yet. :x
When using the texture pack in 1.7.10, 1.8.9, and 1.9, my character glitches out (photo is from 1.7.10)
Thanks for reporting this issue. I did some check. Apparently the current version of this pack
doesn't work with Steve model on 1.7.10 (Since on 1.8 and so on, they increased the size
of the base texture for Steve from 64x32 to 64x64. I faced no issue while testing this
on 1.8.9 and 1.9 In order to solve this issue, you have to use the texture pack that match
1.7.10 and below, which is High on Sugar 2.1.
Sooooooo, I managed to transfer most of the random textures to
vanilla. (Not vines atm. I saw the list of vine models I had to edit and
I pretty much said "F this" for now.)...Big thanks to THIS THREAD!!
However, custom colors for birch leaves and waterlily is still an issue.
After looking up how to get around this, I found no answer as these
blocks' colors are hard coded into the game, and Optifine or MCPatcher
are the only way for you to see custom colors for these blocks
If you know anyway to fix this, I'd really appreciate it! It'll help a lot to
optimized this pack for people who can't install mods.
Worst case scenario is I have to turn birch leaves to green tea
and put it's current textures to something else.
Just a quick record of some of the stuff I did for this update, and a lot more I havn't showed yet. I learned a lot of new techniques after doing sprites for my Stardew Valley hat mod. 'Tis probably going to take a while but I promise you it'll be worth it.
- All blocks done, re-colored some of them, added more animations.
- Items, only missing compass. Bunch of retouched for the one ones, added more contrast, animations. should stand out a lot more from the UI bg now.
- All GUI rework, all new ones, done.
- Still need work on mobs.
; w ;\ Did some UI today, new update makes me have to redesign many of them.
Still tweaking colors and stuff (too purple!!), apparently my laptop screens sucks
and doesn't show as many colors as my desktop monitor. Orz
- Most of new blocks and items covered.
- Redraw some old crappy looking items…
I’d always hated that boat and minecarts…
- Some minor tweaks.
- Gonna test them in game tonight and stream some more tmr.
- Really don’t wanna redo the compass and clock… urggg…
This is definitely the most AWESOME mod I've ever seen! (fricken love the medieval fantasy elements)
In fact, I love it so much I'll be working on a supporting texture pack!! Please continue being awesome!! > 3 < ♥♥♥
Happy Holiday! I know it's a long wait and new update is coming next year :'(
(I for one am dying for 1.9, too)
But enjoy this little Xmas presents and have a great new year!!
Gingerbread house replaces all stone bricks to different types of gingerbread bricks and Iron door, trapdoor, bar to gingerbread style to match the bricks. If you're sick of plain white chocolate bricks, I hope you'll like this one more!
Candycane tress changes oak, dark oak and spruce to candycane style. Have fun building your own customized Gingerbread house and please so share the screenshots! I'd really love to see what you do with these customization!
Video coming shortly! if my recorder works properly that is LOL
Hi guys! Just a little update and apology for disappearing (I forgot my password to this forum...)
and a head up that I'm cooking up the update and more customization. The issues and problems found in current version are being noted and will be fixed on next release,
including a release for Aether2 mod support.
I was also working on a stand-alone mod pack...
but Warframe/ESO/Payday2/Witcher3/Fallout4 kept pulling my attention away from MC...
But don't worry! I will never abandon this texture pack!
The thing is, I kinda only update this pack when an update comes out lol... I alone work on this texture pack while I main work as a freelance illustrator for RPG books with other projects like fan comics and many other stuff so all my other priorities kinda take up all my time.
It's really hard to keep up with everything in the same time...
About Pocket edition... I had a message... months ago... about someone porting my texture pack to pocket edition, I gave her a yes but I didn't follow up afterward, I might have to check up. Other than that, I only play this game on PC version and know nothing about xbox or pocket edition.
Anyway if you have any request ( More customization? Different colors? Different design? of some blocks/mobs), Please, feel free to post them here. My main job for 2015 is done and I can dedicate some time left this year to work on this pack.
Mobs - Panda pigs Blocks - Puffy Tress [Testing], included custom models and 4 random blocks supported borders. SEUS support - Darkder grass, sands, leaves. They'll no longer be so blinding. Illuminate enemy fixed.
If using with puffy tress, please make sure this one is on top but below Green grass..
New customization;
Items - Axe - Chainsaw [animated]
Items - Pickaxe - Hammer
Items - Records - Cassette tapes
Blocks - Mint green grass
Blocks - 2 new breaking animations
Blocks - Chocolate lava
Seperate all Alt blocks/items and sort them to customization choices;
Entities - Male armor sets
Blocks - Cookie tool, chests
Blocks - Shotcakes tool
Blocks - Alternative spruce ramdom candies leaves
Blocks - Jelly mineral blocks
Blocks - Cakes - Pudding and Strawberry Shortcakes
Blocks - 3 sets of stain glass blocks
Paintings - 2 sets of paintings
Sorry I hasn't been checking this forum like forever x-x;
Now I'm crawling out of my heisting gang and space ninja suit to work on this texture pack some more.
Anyway I picked up what I left of with Aether2 expansion.
Here's the Vlog, please be advised 'cause I curse ALOT, it was 3 am and I had no script x_x;... plus I have a sailor's mouth.
