    But if you are trying to have the texture appear when you rename it in an Anvil, you don't need to have the Reset Formatting code (§r) in there. You then ONLY need this for the 'nbt.display.Name=' line.

    If you are wanting the texture to show, only when you are using the Reset formatting code then you can have this:
    nbt.display.Name=§rRussian

    If you want it to have the texture display when you have anything with the Reset formatting code and starts with Russian, then you need to do this:
    nbt.display.Name=pattern:§rRussian *


    By looking at your .properties file, I am thinking you are trying to do the 3rd option. Because right now, your .properties file is working just fine, BUT it will ONLY work if you have the armor named EXACTLY '§rRussian *'. Which I'm assuming is not what you want.


    I would like to have the '§rRussian *' as part of the armor. I've tried what you suggested and it still didn't seem to work. Could it possibly be the list of items I selected or a code error?

    Hey everyone, just wondering if you could help me out with a little bit of a problem I've been having with my MCpatcher CIT textures for armor. It appears that it doesn't seem to be workings despite multiple attempts changing the .properties file regarding the texture. Is CIT of that type not quite finished yet or am I just doing something wrong?
    Here is the .properties file that I am using to attempt to retexture armor-
    type=armor
    items=302,303,304,305
    nbt.display.Name=§rRussian *
    texture.chainmail_layer_1=russia_chainmail_layer_1
    texture.chainmail_layer_1=russia_chainmail_layer_2

    If they need to spy for security purposes then they should use one of those invisibility mods and be covert about it. Are all these servers "Guilty until proven innocent" communist states? Shouldn't admins have to have common courtesy and open their freaking mouths when you ask them who they are and why they are in your house?

    Well, thats my $0.02 anyway...any thoughts?

    Thwy do what they can. Once you have their trust, you can build in peace. Anyone can be a greifer, hacker or something.

    Stone, however, is super abundant, is found everywhere, and is easy to mine. However, I never see anyone using stone tools. They are extremely resource efficient, but everybody uses the more "expensive" tools like iron and diamond. I just don't see how those add up to being better than stone. Anyone want to give me some pointers?

    Dimond and iron are faster, so therefore, you can find MORE iron of diamond faster.

    yea just give me a basic lay-down of what you want it to be centered around and ill pm you the full story. MY idea of a good story is that you wake uo in a cell in the nether with ghast spawners all around, but thats just my idea
