    Just reiterating: I'm definitely crafting a new vanilla anvil, then crafting that straight into the Better Anvil recipe (without exiting the crafting grid, placing the vanilla anvil down in block form, or doing any other dumb stuff like that).


    Seems like it has to do WAILA. The anvil metadata keep changing from 0/1/3/4. 0/3/4 would show a pristine anvil while 1 will show the slightly damaged ones.
    But then again, I'm still not sure if NEi doesnt have anything to do with it. Sure NEI's tooltip doesn't show the anvil is a broken/used ones but can't really see the metadata without waila, and if it was nei's, not sure if this is an issue with the latest nei since cant use waila with stable version of nei.
    Going into creative and using the pick block button on a visually broken, new anvil will just stack the picked anvil with anvil:0. So does going survival and breaking the anvil with pickaxe.

    I guess this bug is just visual and doesnt really affect the anvil's durability. BTW, this bug applies to all anvil, including Better anvil and ender io dark steel anvil.

    Though if we want not be affected by this, we could just rewrite the better anvil into a new block with similar anvil function (using xp to rename,repair,enchant), but different mechanic (machine like instead of anvil like), or different coding of methods (instead of calling vanilla's anvil way of doing things, we write our own way of renaming, repair, enchant).

    You need to upgrade the vanilla anvil.

    Better anvil is a different anvil upgraded from vanilla anvil in that version. Use nei for recipe.

    well, the imaginary time block still have an extra radius, but at least the accelerated sides are equal now instead of being lopsided.

    they have an effective radius of 5 block even when i set it to 4.


    btw, is there a reason why the range of values changeable in the config for most entry are somehow, limited?

    yes, i have to admit, i like my mods op...


    and while youre at it, may i suggest that you add a config to change the ImaginaryTimeBlock vertical area of effect too? i just find 1 top and bottom as just, too limiting.

    Most of the functions are in, the mods in beta cause Glassmakers been rushed with the updates, if you want the recipes just use minetweaker.

    ive tried whitelisting the dimlets and aepressess in the global and bagspecific list but to no avail. i just assumed it only allows whitelisting items already in the hooked table and not items not in a list already.


    ive added the dimlet and ae presses into the " dungeonChest " using minetweaker.

    ive tried removing all other entries inside " dungeonChest " and only leaving the presses and dimlets in it. lootbag was disabled because it "loottable is empty" or something like that. though i havent tried removing everything else but leaving an item already in the list.


    ive also tried to add a custom loottable using minetweaker and seems like the lootbag doesnt detect the table. checked this by removing all other entries in the "loot hook" list and leaving just my custom loottable.


    though i do have a doubt that all this might my error or the editor ive been using, which is notepad++. i assumed this because ive tried leaving the loothook list empty, launch the game, and as expected, disabled lootbags. but when i manually repopulate the list, lootbags was still disabled. i had to delete so the mod regenerate the config.

    ill try using notepad later.


    btw, i did the global whitelisting like this;


    minecraft diamond

    rftools unknowndimlets


    i havent tried using the version 1.5.3, which is the one skyfactory was using. it had ae presses in the lootbags.

    it seems like with the latest version, some mod items would never appear in a lootbag.

    namely rftools dimlets and ae inscriber presses.


    though when i spawn the chest, the items do have a chance to spawn inside the chest.

    just not in loot bags
