well it is not that the problem..... i am not killing them in the breeder , i made some rails and i drown the unwanted ones 40+ blocks away from the villagers..... so this is not affecting them at all
any more ideas ?
Ok so i need a bit of help... here is what happend.
I have a villager breeder and sometimes they breed so fast i need to shut down the thing for a time.
So i proceeded by shutting down the villager breeder by take out the light source , covering it up with dirt , because it is underground.
I did this once and then after i restarted the breeder everything got back to normal , villagers (brown coats) where harvesting normal and mating.
Now the problem is they are breeding but the brown coats stopped harvesting crops , carrtos that is.
I restarted the breeder normal , and took of the dirt so light could come in , but they are doing nothing.
I threw them food manually , i even broke some crops to see if they plant , the problem is that they don't break the mature crops .... only replant them if broken....
Any ideas how to fix this ?
P.S i even try to unload chunk trying to get away from the area and still , nothing happends ?
Broke the doors from the village and put them back trying to reset the existence of the village... but still nothing
i know for fact that villagers have no inventory full . because they are throwing it to the others ... so

i had the same problem
i would advice you to make a wall all around the village 2-3 blocks high and iron bars or if not use blocks instead. when i had this problem i noticed that if zombies get close to the village like 1 block gap they turn the villagers into zombies or just kill them .... don't ask my why i don't know , it might be just a glitch and also light it but very well because zombies will come directly at the villager target , so making that wall will protected and keep the villagers out of the reach of zombies....... so i had this problem
so do as i say and you will be fine
also try to contain the villager breeding not to get more then 20 villagers in one place because that will start a zombie siege

you built this on land ? well i think this is the problem
on land there are tones of caves so mobs will spawn in caves then on your mob farm
i built mine on an ocean so i get a ton of mobs every time. i still get mobs slowly but after an afk of 30 minutes i have almost 2 chests full of gunpowder/bones/rotten flesh
in order for the spawner to work :
- you have to afk at least 24 blocks above the spawner
btw iron titan is not working in 1.12 , or 1.10 i think , not sure where it works but abot 1.9 is not working i think
but for a survival worlds 2-3 iron farms are enought , you will get so much iron you don't need to mine it anymore.
i have mine , 3 iron farms stacked upon each other
Ok so i have been working on my underground villager farm and it is great ! it works and giving a lot of villagers.
But i came across a new problem ..... they are too many now
The general idea is that the ones that have good trades i will keep them but the rest i will send them to heaven xD
The problem is that i have to manually push them out of the breeder and its a pain to do it every 5-10 minutes
I need an idea to take them out of the breeder and sending them to their place ?
Here is a image of my breeder and a rail that i made to get rid of the ones i don't need a 100 blocks away they drown.

it is the portal mr_n_derman posted, yeah pigman spawn but is something wrong with drops.... its like they bearly have drops wich never happend to me before in any world or version :/ and i am in 1.12.2
ok so i downloaded the game and the problem is that i cannot ad more ram to the game... when i press launch options it doze not give me options to add more ram , i need to add because my game is very laggy because i have only 700-800 mb ram ???
any ideas ? and i have 12 gb of ram :/

Essentially, the roof of the nether seems the most efficient place to build a farm, but you have to glitch yourself up there. A farm in the nether itself will require extensive slabbing of the surrounding areas. An overworld farm needs a lot of obsidian, depending on the number of portals you make. But apart from that all you need then is water flows to drop the pigmen down a central shaft where they fall to their death, and hoppers to collect the loot.
In the above thread myself and Sharp103 have been having a discussion (also a private convo as well), as he has been building a farm at his overworld castle, based on mine. Mine is a dual farm in that it can be AFK overnight to collect the pigmen drops, or it can be used in manual mode where I AFK for 20 mins or so the chop em up with a Looting III sword, both enhancing the drops and getting XP to recharge mending gear. But that requires more redstone and design. My farm is 18 23x23 portals (nearly 1600 obsidian), and Sharp's is the same; he recorded that he acquired approx. 1236 nuggets in 4 hours - that's just the fall to their death design. So that's an idea of what a farm my size gives you.
The AFK area is just under portals so there are no despawning issues.
well i built this farm you put in the link , but it seams pigman either they are sent back thru the portal , either they just afk on the obsidian and they don't wall off the trap doors :/
and there is a nother problem i put the game on hard mode
but they bearly drop some loot .... i think the game is glitched ....
because they fall like glitching into the walls
how can i fix this ?
i made it exacly as in the video but something is wrong... i can't figure it out what
and the pigman when falling to their doom they don't drop any exp !!!!! this is weird because the first time i started the portal there was exp on the hoppers but there is none now
i thought the drop is to big and pigman just spawn out before dying so i changed the drop to 24 blocks so they die instant but nothing changes , bearly getting some drops
i got a question so . i want to build my gold farm over the top of a hill where my underground home is but i might have a problem
can the overall mob cap stop the gold farm , pigman from spawning ?
i have cows , sheep , pigs and villagers like very near the place underground , i want to build the gold farm , so can this be done ?
