This rpg resource pack is inspired by and old texture pack that i use to love back in 1.2.5 called eldcraft, although updating the texture pack to 1.6.2 was too hard i decided to start from scratch and re-design the textures and i tried to make the textures look as close to eld craft as i possibly could. I guess you could say this is a revamp of eldcraft but with my special touch.
Majority of the pack is still work in progress but i have managed to complete most items, blocks and gui's some of the items and blocks still have vanilla textures only because i have not got around to doing textures but there are very few i have not completed. Most of the gui's are complete apart from the creative inventory, hopper inventory and the anvil inventory.
If you think something is not like the original eldcraft or you think something is wrong msg me or i encourage the community to come up with textures that they would like to see implemented and pm me them so i can take a look. Thanks xPureSurfx
Neither x3n0ph0b3 or Pahimar came up with the idea of alchemy, alchemy has been around for centuries. x3n0ph0b3 took the name of "Equivalent Exchange" from a popular Anime named Fullmetal Alchemist. So technically tattyseal doesn't need permission from Pahimar or x3n0 to create a mod based on a tv series that they have no control over... I am also developing a mod based on this series, but mine is about transmutations with mobs.
I'm not sure about getting .obj files in Minecraft, but getting Techne models in is simple. After creating your Techne model, save it so you can make changes to it later. Then go to File>Export As>Texture Map. Use the .png it has created to make the texture. To get the texture into Techne, use Edit>Load Texture. Once you have the model you want, Go to File>Export As>Java. I'm assuming you already know how to mod with Eclipse and MCP. Open the generated text file, copy the contents, then create a new class in Eclipse and name it Model[PickANameToPutHere]. Paste the contents of the text file into the new Class file and fix any errors that pop up. You should then be able to figure out how to use the model with various processes in Minecraft. The Models are made for Entities, so it may be difficult to use them for other things. For custom armor models, you might have to use Player API or something similar.
Hey There, when it comes to rendering 3d models into minecraft im a complete noob :3 and i was wondering if anyone could help me out or give me a base of how it all works ?, by 3d model i just mean like a techne model but if you know how to import obj into minecraft that would be even better. my current sitiuation is i would like to use a techne model to create a 3d helmet and eventually a full set of 3d armor, i would also like to learn how people have been importing 3d .Obj files into minecraft ! it looks awesome and i would like to give it a try Thanks
Can you update us on all the progress that you have made since the start?
I'll be honest the mod development has pretty much come to a halt and im not to sure who on the team is still active, i know that we have had 2 members leave but im on my way of starting it backup. maybe i should release a second pre-alpha ? would you guys want that ? just a warning though if i did do that some of the new additions maybe buggy as most are "Work In Progress"

It only spawns in the Wasteland, the new Biome that is added in AgeCraft, but we'll probably make a Spawn Egg for it, so you can use a Dispenser, take in note it can grief due to his Fire Breath
you can turn off mob griefing in a map using the command
Nice Idea But You Really Need To Work On The Main Post, And At Least Try And Give A Bit More Detail On What The Mod Is About ... If You Are Still Having Problems With Creative Tabs Message Me And I Can Help You Out

There is already a mod that includes dual-wielding so instead of adding it in we will probably make it compatible with nerdboys battlegear

Maybe you could find dragon nests in the wasteland, with the haybales and some eggs but it will be heavily guarded and possibly in a mountain cave
