If your friends can join, but not you; this means your client is not installed correctly; or you have a different version. Try finding automated installers.
Unfortunately, jamioflan has not created an SMP edition of Flan's Mod (despite there being SMP in previous versions) however he has promised on his thread that it is coming 'soon'. For now, you will have to stick to your singleplayer creeper massacres. D:

R0cketor: The colors are this way because I wanted to space them from what was real- I'm actually into realism, and I at one point planned on adorning aircraft with national insiginias. I actually felt guilty, though, about putting a star and stripes on a plane I knew didn't exist! When I start implementing actual aircraft, though, they will certainly be as realistic as possible- think to the point of actual squadrons, groups, wings, possibly even actual weathering- and whatever else applies to the aircraft in particular.
And on the topic of your server: I was planning on releasing a pack specifically for faction servers such as yours. The planes would be the same, except come in 2 versions: Blue and red. That way, it would be clear who's side you were fighting for. (Likely they wouldn't be crafted... only spawned. This makes things simple, as oftentimes the only thing separating planes is dye color.)

I love this mod! We have 3 factions on our server (US, britain, nazi germany) and since america had only 1 plane we were stuffed... until this came along!
The power of all these planes are well balanced, good job! I just have a little request. Well, no offense here, but the colour of the planes are a fair bit, let's say, vibrant. Some people might like this but I don't, so I'm going to make a more realistic alternate textures to this add-on mod. I hope you approve, cause I've already started xD
Anyway, this mod's great! I look forward to those 'floatingplanes' or whatever they were in your description. :biggrin.gif:
