This is the first of many mods i will create called the Snowman Mod. The Snowman Mod creates a new mob (NPC) called the Snowman. The Snowman will be a basic creature which means that it will spawn at night and day. The Snowman drops 10 snow blocks when you kill it and is player size. The Snowman will not be hostile or burn in sunlight. I hope you all enjoy this mod and look forward to updates!

For Windows:
1. Search for the "Run" Program
2. Inside "Run", type in %appdata%
3. Open .minecraft, then open your Bin folder then un-archive minecraft.jar with either Winrar or 7-zip
4. Take the files from Snowman Mod.zip and put them into minecraft.jar
5. Delete the META-INF folder, this step is VERY important!
6. Now your done!
For Mac:
1. Paste in this command into Terminal:
cd ~
mkdir mctmp
cd mctmp
jar xf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
2. Now go to your user folder and open mctmp
3. copy and paste all of the files from Snowman Mod.zip into mctmp
4. Paste this command into Terminal:
rm META-INF/MOJANG_C.*
jar uf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar ./
cd ..
rm -rf mctmp
5. Now your done!
For Linux:
I do not know how to install mods for Linux, but Google: how to install mods on Linux and see what you find :smile.gif:

1. Make Snowmen only spawn in Tundra and Taiga biomes
2. Make Lavaman glow like lava

Windows Users: I'm not exactly sure if my mod will work on Windows (Try it anyway) because I created it on Mac, but if it does not work I will try very hard to fix it!
Requirements:
1. Minecraft beta 1.7.3
2. Modloader
