    Most of the others get paid=yes so their issue is different from yours, is all I know.

    You can log in without being Premium, registered users are not the same as Premium users.
    Did someone give you the account, or "gift" a payment to your already registered account?
    There was a period I think when free accounts were given away for a weekend, those included the most recent client for that time, but could not be upgraded later. If you played the day before an update, it might mean the next day the servers updated to a different client versioon and you were no longer able to join.

    What is the version number of the client you have now?

    If you know the gifter very well -- ask them what happened. They will WANT to know if there was a problem if they actually paid for it.
    If you don't know them well enough to ask, then I would say there was a "misunderstanding" about what type of account you were getting.


    My current version is 1.2.3 or something, I think I am on the latest.
    And he did gift an already existing account I have no idea what happened.



    My account 'Chargon' is recognized as premium at http://www.minecraft.net/haspaid.jsp?user=Chargon but I also get the 'must login first to play offline' / 'user not recognized' / etc. messages when trying to login. It's now been *weeks* waiting with no replies from the *@mojang e-mails as well...

    It's now been *weeks* since this issue occured and I too have e-mailed all three of their e-mails with no luck. This is *very* frustrating. Any response would be a positve at this point.
