I'm having an issue in multiple games, like tf2 and Garry's Mod TTT where when I zoom into the scope on a rifle and shoot a person, the game "freezes." It actually only happens if I'm aiming at a person though. When I say "freezes", I mean I can't zoom out of the scope, everyone around me stops moving, I never see or hear the shot, I can no longer move... The problem goes away after 3-5 minutes of waiting, but who wants to wait that long between shots in a game. The fact this problem is existing between games makes me believe it's an issue with my computer. A side note is that this problem has only existed since I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 8.1. Some PC Specs: AMD FX-6300, MSI Radeon HD 7870 2 GB, 8 GB Crucial Ballistix Ram...
I recently upgraded from windows 7 to 8.1 and have only had this problem since upgrading. When playing minecraft 1.7.10, if I switch to another window
(say, I minimize minecraft to use skype or chrome,) then go back to minecraft, everything appears normal. New chat messages are appearing, things with particles or animation are still moving, players and mobs are still moving around, but there's one issue. If I click on the window, it gains a white overlay and says "minecraft.exe is not responding", even though behind the white overlay I can clearly see it's responding, and I need to force close java to restart minecraft. It happens in singleplayer, multiplayer, and even on the main menu or pause menu. Since I've been having issues in other games with my graphics drivers, it might be notable that I'm running the latest amd beta drivers for my radeon hd 7870, though I can't see why that would affect minecraft "not responding". Though minecraft is still playable, this bug is SOOOOOO annoying, PLEASE. HELP.
I'd go for dual channel memory, like 2 x 4GB, and the hd 7770 or 7790 is in my opinion still a better deal than the r7 260x. The 7000 series is older. but about equal performance.
Everything worked yesterday, but all of the sudden BAM, I can't open skype (stupid windows 8.1 version), windows store, mail, or ANY fullscreen app bundled with windows 8.1. It just minimizes it and when I click on it in the taskbar it just returns me to my desktop. Please help!
I made a lot of mistakes in my first world. 1. I didn't know zombies could climb stairs 2. I didn't know doors existed 3. I thought my cobblestone was too precious to make into tools 4. I almost let my brother convince me the first diamond ore I ever found was actually lapis 5. I found 2 diamonds and since I didn't have enough to make a pick, I made one into a jukebox and threw the other away 6. When I read you could find music discs in dungeons I walked on the surface looking for a dungeon
The Problem: Players can't claim kits even though they have proper permissions. I tried giving essentials.kit.(kit name) and essentials.kits.(kitname) but it didn't work. Ops can claim kits fine.
I am getting bizzare and frequent chunk errors on my server. These chunk errors are completely client side, as relogging or unloading the chunk while travelling away often fixes them, but then when you travel back in to the same area, you can SEE chunks becomong bad. This is not just my copy of minecraft, its happening to everyone who goes on my server and in every world. In some cases, it even fills in chunk errors with chunks from other worlds, its as if its just scrambling chunks on my server, occasionally creating new ones out of materials like spawners, fire, dirt and grass, nether quartz ore (I don't even have a nether world on my server) glass panes, carpet, and other materials. Its happening in worlds generated by the server and worlds generated in single player that were uploaded to the server. I've tried getting new world management plugins (I've tried multiverse and multiworld) and I tried generating all new worlds. This is also happening to players using both 1.7.2 and 1.7.4. As I fly around, the errors become more frequent in the same areas. If it helps, I believe I am running the latest spigot, but I have tried the latest beta and dev of bukkit and the same problem occurs. My Plugins: http://imgur.com/WwY3PyB

There's why it lags.
I only get 25-30 FPS on a $1k custom built desktop, so there's probably nothing you can do. Mobile graphics chips suck.
