Have you voted for Savage Realms at all 3 sites mentioned below? Allow me to play on the server before I vote. I will be sure to if its as good as it appears.
You fools, it is possible to use All three in conjunction to create the most powerful player ever. Super Gold Duping with a Macerator + Arcane Furnace into the Transmutation Table, mwahahaha.
I just like using my insane diamond block producer from EE to research stuff in seconds.
Can someone send me a .jar of this because i keep getting a black screen when i install it. It also causes it to crash other times. this is a really annoying mod.
The best and easiest way to install mods is mcpatcher. It even somehow made mods work that previously did not.
If you don't want to use that then make sure you did everything right, and all your mods are for 1.2.3.
I can not send you the jar however because that would be pirating minecraft, as minecraft.jar contains about 95% of the game itself.
^I believe that was why he changed the red matter recipe to cost three dark matter. Please check the latest version and come back if it's still an issue.
I can't use the latest version because forge for 1.2.3 does not work on macs.
I don't know if this was fixed, but red matter costs 400,000 EMC in version 1.1 but can be made with only 200,000 EMC of resources. This means you can essentialy get infininte money by making red matter from dark matter then converting it back into EMC.
The repair mod is nice for tools, but it seems kind of OP when used with diamond armor (36 iron ≠ 24 diamond). A possible improvement would be different versions of anvil for different types of tools and armor (gold-diamond anvil repairs everything, and iron repairs iron and below).
my idea for a gold-diamond anvil would be
A=diamond
B=gold block
C=old iron anvil

Admit it, wolves do not do much, but before they were in the game, there were few mods that incorporated companions.
Before wolves, there was the nether. This place contains nothing that is useful, except glowstone, but that used to be really rare because you would only get 1 dust per glowstone, and it would take nine to make a block. It is the nether that introduced code that could be changed to make places like the aether and twilight forest.
Most recently, we have potions and brewing stands. Because of their one time use, and the cost of potions (both in inventory and in materials) they are not very useful, but I am sure people will be able to make an interesting mod out of this.

While Notch has not added mod support, he has added code that despite being not interesting, can be used in interesting ways
It has been about a month after 1.8 was released, so I am just curious how rebuilding the mod is going.
Because I keep copies of all my jars (after around 1.6) I can still play this. but I am just trying to stay informed on the progress.
cool story. You are correct about chickens being spies for the opposition.
As you can see, while mining with equivalent exchange, I found a chicken really deep (not with F3 I just used that to show the depth). Also I did not put grass down there.

Also fire can temporarily start on stone blocks (just a few seconds) but can then spread before it goes out.
Completely encase your firepit, there is no other way.

Wolves were new, but very annoying to get them to work correctly (they wander way too much so they are not there when you need them.
The nether did not add anything useful when it was released, the new nether stuff was only added a week ago.
And potions are meh.
