posted a message on Should you use Mending or Infinity?

I would just pick infinity over mending, unbreaking 3 makes it last a long time before it breaks, plus a few repairs here and there makes it good as new.

posted a message on Crash at startup new gpu drivers

I just upgraded my drivers to the nvidia drivers of the 940mx that I have in my laptop, before that I could play just fine, except when it was full screen it'd have white flashes every few seconds, pretty annoying on a 29 in. monitor. Here is a log of the info in the crash report. Any ideas/suggestions?

Hey guys I have no idea if this has been mentioned before on this thread or elsewhere (so much stuff) but I was messing around in creative in the latest snap (14w18a) and in the debug overlay (f3 thingy) it tells you which block of the chunk you are in and which chunk you were in. Thought that was really nice of them so i didn't have to do /16 to get which chunk and %16 to find which block of the chunk and I noticed that as I flew upwards the y coord in the chunk went up to 15 then up one more block back down to 0 and then the chunk coord y increased by 1. either this is just all maths stuff in place for 1.8 to make things easier for people (though why divide the y of the tall chunks???) or we are going to get cubic chunks (the first option seems to me a little odd so it all could be in prep for a swap to cubic chunks but still prep for cubic chunks means that progress is certainly underway).

posted a message on The Next Evolution for in game Interfaces! [300+ Support!] Now with lots of Pics.
I fully support but I do have one suggestion and that is that we don't need the player window in every interface. and then perhaps a bit of rearrangement putting the 2x2 crafting grid in between the player inventory and the object inventory with the armor horizontally directly beneath it. Though that would not work out in the non-fullscreen view with the default window size.

what do you like to do in minecraft?: build, explore, mine... the basic vanilla stuff, and interact with others to an extent.
Why would you like to join?: To see what these realms are all about and give them a test drive. Also play with a small group of people (I don't like servers with lots of people).
    skype (optional):

    Preferred pronouns: he
    Age: 19
Have you ever been banned? If so, why?: Nope, unless you want to count me banning myself from my own private server...
Will you make an account on the Envisage Community Forums?: Perchance if it is necessary but I'm sure I'll mainly be lurking (not much posting) with or without an account.
What made you want to join Envisage?: Saw the link to this thread from a link to a thread in the active threads sections with someone looking for a friendly, mature server and thought that a smaller community would be a nice thing to try out.
Favourite colour: Hmmm well going by the color of my toothbrush that would have to be orange. The color I wear most often is black or other dark colors. The colors I enjoy most in minecraft would be black and red wool or even the dark oak.
How long have you been playing Minecraft?: I think since around 1.4 era. I'm not really entirely sure
Favourite aspect of SMP: The interaction with other people yet being able to do my own thing as well.
Favourite block: I really like the portal block ,not the obsidian, though I do like that one as well, but the block that is the purple stuff. I just think it is one of the most underappreciated blocks especially in all of these modded servers that use warps instead of the portals.
Background Information: Just got done with my first year of college studying Computer Science and I loved it and I really like nice things, like watches, shoes, cars, furniture, you name it and I want to have a nice version of it.

Another option is DigStraightDown. Everyone on the server is 18+ and friendly. Server is up basically 24/7 and averages about 10ish people at a given time max has been around 35 or so I've heard. Has a few plugins for grief prevention and the such and even has a way for you to play pure vanilla in the same world as everyone else. Check out the website at www.digstraightdown.com for more information or even login at mc.digstraighdown.com (you won't be able to do much but you will be able to talk with the community.

posted a message on K9 Webprotection not allowing SMP
Okay so i'm in need of some help i have not been able to recieve any from the K9 people yet but i figured there may be other people with this problem. i have installed K9 Webprotection for personal reasons and now it is not letting me play SMP. i can connect for a little bit if at all and then an error pops up saying something about something blocked connection. i'm positive this is from K9 because i removed it and SMP worked just fine and the reinstalled it and the problem started happening again. Anybody else have this issue or know a work around for it. i have tried looking but have found nothing yet.

posted a message on 1.5.2 MASSIVE VANILLA [WHITELIST] [NO BUKKIT] [PURE VANILLA]
    Age (be completely honest): 18
    IGN: undermark5
Why would you like to join?: i'm also taking a break from server managing and looking for much smaller communities (i don't like the 500 people servers) and decided to check this server out. though i suggest going semi vanilla to add protections but meh you can do what you want to do.
Have you ever greifed?(Be completely honest. This wont lower your chances though): yes but not great amounts. the only stuff i have really done wasn't technically griefing since all of the stuff i was breaking was unclaimed and abandoned on the server (the server had claims and griefing preventions). but that is more of just to test out anti griefing stuff. on vanilla servers like this i don't grief because i host my own server for my friends and am very strict with griefing because it is such a huge pain.
