Instead of despising "Grammar Nazis", and calling them assholes, why not think about what they're saying, even if they are being an asshole? Because, you come across as stupid when you can't use decent grammar, and you come across as a total dumb-**** when you do it on purpose (u, ur, plz, thx, ima, ne1, prolly).
Even simple spelling mistakes are inexcusable, considering that spell-checking is a routine feature in most browsers these days.
In the end, it's the apparent lack of effort that feeds the asshole responses.
Ever since beta came out, my private server has been riddled with unresolvable chunk errors. Performance is great, but most of our stuff has been swallowed by craters.
I have to admit, I find it a bit worrying that an official release is already being talked about, while much of Minecraft's potential remains to be realized. And that's not a matter of inflated expectations - I think we can all agree that Minecraft has huge potential; there's years worth of solid development that can go into it. I'm pretty sure we all expected most of that to be done well before it goes gold.
But with that being said, we also have to remember that Mojang has only just been founded, with Minecraft being its flagship title. I think it's safe to say that things are only just beginning for Minecraft, and there's no reason to believe it won't become a monster of a game before Mojang ultimately calls it quits. It just probably wont develop in a very logical order.
before assuming that is the problem try to be more helpful or ask for Details.. instead of directly assuming everyone who asks questions are computer Newbies..
And before responding like I'm some stupid smart-ass who thinks you're a "newbie", try doing a little research. That error comes up when you try to run a program that's not installed (Java, in this case). There's nothing else to assume other than a problem with your Java install.
From my experience, you might be better off without monsters. Playing online just isn't as fluid or as "real-time" as singleplayer, which as you've seen, can be detrimental to fighting mobs.
Unfortunately, I had to vote "not at all". It's just that I've seen so many ideas and suggestions, and I know there's an entire world of content that can be added... yet, the official updates we get are relatively weak.
However, we've now got a proper company working on the game. Things will definitely increase.

Pretty bad timing, too, because PC Gamer just mentioned this game in April's best free PC games.
There could be a nice influx of new players - not a great time to be taking the game down.

This should have been the first sign that you're on a server run by **** heads.
