The new format of opening the launcher then the application, doesn't work.
It takes up more space on my computer and makes my computer lag. It also runs on JAVA, so it glitches nonstop.
I had a blast administrating a factions server previously, and I feel I can help this server out a lot.

What will you bring to the server to help us?
I have administrated a successful faction server in the past. I have a lot of experience with plugins, and I know how to make a good factions server. I already posted some recommendations on page 9 of this thread.
Some advice from when I administrated a fairly successful factions server:
1. Make the spawn simple. Don't build crap all over because you think it looks cool. It doesn't. Find a place deep in the wilderness if you want to build big airships and stuff like that. This doesn't mean you can improve the spawn, however. The spawn should be constantly evolving, getting a little better each time you go over it.
2. Don't let faction land protect chests and furnaces. This is an important one. The whole point of a PvP/Faction server is to raid, loot, pillage, rape, and kill. There is zero incentive for players to raid an enemy faction's base if they can't access the chests inside. Factions should have to protect their chests in creative ways in order to avoid having things stolen.
3. Remove whatever anti-cheat plugin you have. This may sound counterintuitive, but the anti-cheat plugins come with major problems and glitches. PM me for more info on that; what I say could be abused by hackers. The best way to rid your server of hackers is just to go invisible and monitor people every once in a while. If monitoring players is too much work for you, promoting one or two trusted Users to Moderator is always an option. Install this xray detection plugin to stop people from X-Raying as well. DO NOT use an ore obfuscation plugin, as those cause "phantom ore" and lag for people with low-end computers.
I had actually thought of a lot more before I started writing this, but I got sidetracked :/. I'll post more as I remember more. I hope this helps, as this is one of the better PvP servers I have run across in a while.

SuperiorPvP is a fresh, new, fun server. It has many plugins for players to use to make their Minecraft experience that much better! Some plugins are well known, others are custom made by the server's plugin developers. There are many things to do in SuperiorPvP, including just building a secluded base or griefing others' bases.
The server's plugins are listed below, with descriptions.
